The Athabasca Day Use Area is a private venue with built-in benches, an arbor, and room for up to 100+ guests. Includes large parking area, picnic shelter with woodstove, picnic tables and a firepit. No electricity, limited cell service and 3 outhouse washrooms. This are can be used for a reception as well! The day use area is reservable through Parks Canada in three slots—morning, afternoon and evening. Next year’s reservations opening the prior November.

Maligne Valley: Medicine + Maligne Lake

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offers a luxury wedding experience and boasts an impressive 6 wedding ceremony locations on their property. A Fairmont ceremony includes a venue manager, set up and take down, refreshment station, back-up location for inclement weather and an option to include professional audio services.

Pyramid Lake Resort and the Maligne Historical Chalet offer ceremony venues and their other properties are great for receptions!

Pyramid Island is a spectacular venue with built-in benches and room for up to 60 guests. The ceremony site is reservable through Parks Canada by the hour (on the half-hour) with next year’s reservations opening the prior November. Pyramid Island is still open to the public but visitors are respectful. No electricity. Washroom located at the parking lot.
